OYINLOLA FLAGS OFF N.6BILLION ROAD PROJECTS, INAUGURATES HOSPITALS
Osun State Governor, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, on Tuesday inaugurated three hospital projects in Osogbo just as he flagged off the rehabilitation of roads in Ile-Ife township worth over N600million.
The health projects sited in the state Hospital, Asubiaro, Osogbo included maternity complex, infant welfare ward, pharmacy building and a brand new x-ray machine.
The governor also flagged off an over N600 Million contract for the rehabilitation of township roads in Ile-Ife where he restated his administration’s commitment to rural and urban development.
Before the flag off, he visited the Ooni of Ife, Oba Okunade Sijuwade with the Oba praising the governor for keeping his promise to the people of the town.
Prince Oyinlola had earlier paid an inspection visit to the Main Campus of Osun State University in Osogbo and expressed satisfaction with the advanced stage of construction work on the administration block and the Auditorium.
He told newsmen that the university projects in the six campuses would be ready for commissioning soon while stressing that the state government would always embark on projects and programmes beneficial to the populace.
Other projects slated for inauguration this week are Ada-Ibokun-Idominasi road, Itawure-Esa-Oke-Imesi Ile/Ekiti State boundary road, Unity –Ikire-Ikoyi road and four water schemes for Inisa, Iperindo, Ife Odan and Oluponna. Hospital projects in Ilesa and Iwo executed in the last one year will also be commissioned.
