ADEDIBU: PDP DECLARES SEVEN DAYS OF MOURNING
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has declared seven days of mourning over the death of Alhaji Lamidi Adedibu.
A statement issued by the National Vice Chairman,(South West) of the PDP Alhaji Tajudeen Oladipo directed that all flags at PDP secretariats in The South West be flown at half mast throughout the period of mourning.
The party which described Alhaji Adedibu as a great Nigerian with a great love for the common man stated that he would be greatly missed by the party and the nation in general.
According to the PDP, the death of Alhaji Adedibu has left a void in the political life of the country adding that the late Chief was a great leader who was at home with both the elite and the ordinary person.
His death, the party noted, has left the political class poorer in guidance especially given the fact that he was a very rich encyclopedia of political events spanning over 50 years.
