There are varieties of agricultural produce in the State. These agricultural produce constitute a springboard for the establishment of various agro-allied industries.
Osun State is at a threshold of agrarian and industrial revolution. The State Government has invested and continues to invest heavily in agriculture with the intention of mass production of various crops for direct human consumption and industrial utilization. This, coupled with the agro-allied provision of an investment-friendly environment has set the stage for massive agro-allied industrial investment in the State.

The available trees in Osun State forest reserves include: Chlorophora excelsa, Terminalia superba, Antiaris africana, Tectona grandis, Gmelina arborea, etc. They are useful for production of timber, billet, tooth picks, particleboards, electric poles, furniture, match sticks, etc.
WATER RESOURCES
The main water resources of the State include the following:
1. Ede, Asejire, Oba, Osun 2,400 HA
2. Owalla, Okinni, Erinle 2,300 HA
3. Eko-Ende, Otin 297 HA
4. Esa-Odo 50.18 HA
5. Ede-Erinle 50 HA
6. Iwo-Oba/Osun 50 HA
Apart from these, there is a waterfall at Erin-Ijesa which can serve as a springboard for the establishment of a water-bottling industry.
