Oyetola condoles with Kogi Gov. over mother’s death
Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of the State of Osun, on Sunday, condoled with the Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, over the passing of his mother, Hajia Hauwau Oziohu Bello.
The late Hajia Hauwau, 101, was said to have passed on Sunday evening. The governor described the death of the late Hajia Hauwau as a great loss to Kogi State and the entire Bello family.
Oyetola, in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Ismail Omipidan, noted that the late Hajia Hauwau was a devout Muslim, who devoted her life to showing her children the path to success.
He further said, “Although the late Hauwau was an old woman, the death of a beloved one is usually devastating no matter how old the person may be.
“Let’s however be consoled by the fact that she lived an exemplary life worthy of emulation. May Allah comfort you, the people of the State and your immediate family.
“My deep condolences go to the entire family as well as the people of Kogi State. I pray Allah grant her Aljanat Firdaus and I pray Allah gives you and the entire people of Kogi State the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss,” Oyetola added.
