Dr. (Mrs.) Abosede Adekemi Olatokun, born on the 31st of October, 1965, is a distinguished veterinary professional from Irepodun Local Government Area, Osun State. She is married and has made significant contributions to public health and veterinary medicine through her expertise and leadership.

Dr. Olatokun began her educational journey at the Seventh Day Adventist Primary School in 1975. She proceeded to Our Lady’s Girls’ High School, Modakeke, where she completed her secondary education in 1981. She obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from the University of Ibadan in 1989. She furthered her studies, earning a Master’s degree in Veterinary Public Health and Preventive Medicine in 1999 and achieving the prestigious status of a Fellow at the College of Veterinary Surgeons, Nigeria (Public Health) in 2013.

Her professional career commenced on the 11th of October, 2003, as a Veterinary Officer at Grade Level 12, Step 02. With years of dedicated service, she rose to her current position as the Director of Veterinary Services on Grade Level 17, effective from the 1st of January, 2019. Her leadership has been instrumental in advancing veterinary practices and ensuring animal and public health.
