The Ministry of Education is responsible for the educational sector in the State. It seeks to elevate the standard of education and maintain it.
Some of it duties include but are not limited to:
- Curriculum revision of both primary and secondary schools.
- Implementation of government policies.
- Liaise with Federal Ministry of Education, Universal Basic Education Board and other agencies involved in education development.
