Alhaji Olaoluwa Ganiyu Badmus was born on the 11th May 1962, at Apamodari’s Compound, Arikalamu, Owoope in Osogbo in Olorunda Local Government to the family of Alhaji and Alhaja Tiamiyu Amoo Olaoluwa.
The young Ola-Oluwa attended Local Authority Primary School, Fadaka in Ile-Ife between 1975 and 1977 where he had his Secondary Education. “Asejere” as he is popularly known enrolled as an adult at Osun State Polytechnic Iree, where he obtained his National Diploma in 2006. He went back to the same Polytechnic for his Higher National Diploma between 2007-2010.
An astute businessman who also had a foray in his father’s business acumen as a Cocoa Merchant, Ola-Oluwa later ventured into transport business where he carved a niche for himself as a successful transporter.
His drive to contribute to the growth and development of his Osogbo community and Osun State at large made Alhaji Ayobami Ganiyu Olaoluwa to join partisan politics.
He started as frontline activist of Unity Party of Nigeria (UPN), and later a Publicity Secretary of Peoples Front of Nigeria (PFN) Olorunda Local Government chapter. Alhaji Olaoluwa was also a former ward

The loving and kind hearted “Asejere” was a PDP Osun Central Senatorial district candidate in 2019 and a member of University Teaching Hospital, Benin, Edo State, 2013, former Chairman PDP, Osun State chapter (2012-2016) former Executive Chairman, Olorunda Local Government, Osogbo 2008-2010 and a former Special Adviser to former sun State Governor between 2007 and 2008 in addition to being made an Executive Assistant to former Governor Olagunsoye Oyinola in 2003-2007.
He is also Chairman and CEO Blue and White Hotel, Osogbo, Osun State, Alhaji Olaoluwa, was a member of Osun Due Process Committee in 2006, former member, Osun State Local Government budget implementation 2006, former Vice Chairman, sun State football Association, Director Rasadak and Associates. Presently Al Olaoluwa is the Honourable Commissioner for Rural Development and Community Affairs.
Alhaji Olaoluwa bagged many awards to his credit: some of them were, friend of police Award by Nigeria Police, Osun State Command in 2009, a merit award by the Grassroots Sports Federation, Best Local Government Chairman in Osun Central Senatorial district. Best Local Government Chairman Award in Osun State by LOGMA, Award of Excellence by Radio Nigeria, Gold FM, llesa in 2009, the best Environmental Friendly Chairman in the South West awarded by Environmental Health Officers Association of Nigeria (EHOAN) South West zone, award by the Nigeria Union of Journalist (NUJ) Osun State Council, Excellence Award on Education by the All Nigeria Conference of Principals of Public Schools (ANCORPPS) Osun State chapter, and Best Local Government Chairman by BEN TV London in 2009.
Olaoluwa likes traveling and football. He is happily married and blessed with wonderful children.
