Adeola Olusola Ogungbile is an illustrious son of Iragberi in Egbedore Local Government. He was born to the family of Mr & Mrs Ogungbile over 50 years ago. He attended Seventh Day Adventist Grammar School Ede for his secondary education, University of Ife and Lagos

Adeola Olusola Ogungbile is an illustrious son of Iragberi in Egbedore Local Government. He was born to the family of Mr & Mrs Ogungbile over 50 years ago. He attended Seventh Day Adventist Grammar School Ede for his secondary education, University of Ife and Lagos State University where he earned his first degree and second degree respectively.

He started his career at Pacific Bank in Credit administration in early 2000 where he was in charge of credit documentation, policy compliance and loan monitoring among others. He exited the bank as a team lead in the Retail and Commercial Banking division. In 2006, he joined Unity Bank as a credit administration Officer and helped to effectively manage the loan portfolio of the bank by reducing the huge Non-Performing Loan of the bank to 3% and reduce the bad loans portfolio by 50%. He earned commendation from the Regional manager of the bank for his superlative performance.

He was briefly at Oceanic Bank as head of marketing where his sterling performance was noticed and commended prior to joining First City Monument Bank (FCMB) in 2010. At FCMB, he spearheaded a remarkable more than 100% growth in branch revenue and deposit growth in excess of 300% achieved an impressive customer retention rate of 95% and significantly enhanced overall branch profitability. His ability to inspire teams, innovate processes, and implement customer-focused strategies cemented his reputation as a high impact leader.

The astute banker is a result oriented executive with proven record of excellence in the financial and banking sectors. Renowned for his expertise in strategic planning, business development, operational efficiency, he has consistently delivered outstanding outcome that drive growth and innovation.

His distinguished career in banking earned him multiple awards for exemplary leadership in branch coordination, exceptional customer service, and impactful business development initiatives. As Commissioner of Finance, Olusola has brought his expertise to bear on Osun State financial management. Under his stewardship, the state has fiscal discipline, ensuring the timely payment and servicing of long term financial obligations without increasing the debt profile. It is on record that the State has not accessed any loan for her multi-various projects. His commitment to financial prudence and resource optimization has strengthened the state’s economic resilience and positioning it for sustainable development and growth in revenue drive of the state.
