Hon. Ayobola Fadeyi Awolowo, is a distinguished leader with a passion for public

service and advocacy. She hails from Ila -Orangun and her journey is marked by a commitment to community welfare and a legacy of impactful leadership.

Her educational foundation was laid at the 7th Day Adventist Primary School in Ile-Ife, and our Ladies Girl High School, Ile-Ife.

She later attended Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife where she earned both her Bachelor’s and Post Graduate degree in Business Management.

Hon. Ayobola Fadeyi Awolowo embarked on a successful 20 -year career in the banking sector, where her expertise and dedication shone brightly.

However, driven by a profound desire to effect positive changes, she transitioned into the realm of politics.

In 1997, she emerged as a Beacon of Hope, contesting as the Federal Honourable Candidate for Boluwaduro /Ifedayo/lla Federal Constituency under United Nigeria Congress Party (UNCP).

A pivotal moment in her political career came in 2008 when she served as the Special Adviser to the Executive Governor of Osun State.

Hon. Ayobola Fadeyi Awolowo’s commitment to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) is evident through her roles as a Caretaker committee member, both in the South West and later in Osun State.

Presently, she holds, the esteemed position of Honourable Commissioner for Women, Children, and Social Affairs.

In this capacity, she continues to champion the rights and well-being of the vulnerable, leaving with indelible mark on policies that uplift communities.

Hon. Awolowo is a devoted wife and mother, blessed with a loving family that serves as pillar of support.
