Governor Adeleke felicitates with Baba Oyedokun at 89

The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has rejoiced with an elderstatesman and a leader of immense values, Alhaji Shuaib Oyedokun, as he clocks 89 years today.

Governor Adeleke salutes Baba Oyedokun as a distinguished figure in advancing democratic culture in our clime, applauding him for the longstanding contributions he made towards a better society.

The Governor acknowledges Baba Oyedokun’s perspectives on politics and governance, saying that the former National Vice Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is a repository of wise counsels for any who who sought them.

“It is that moment yet again that we celebrate a shining figure in our political landscape, Baba (Alhaji) Shuaibu Oyedokun. Baba Oyedokun’s birthday reminds us not just the passage of time but his extensive values and contributions in the social and political advancement of Nigeria,” the Governor was quoted as saying.

“Baba Oyedokun is a leader that has enriched our democratic experience and has remained a strong pillar of support for PDP, offering wise counsels and standing as one of the rallying points for the PDP family in Osun state.

“As Baba turns 89 today, I pray that Almighty Allah renews his strength and continues to grant him sound health so as to continue to enjoy the great benefits of his counsels and experience in navigating turbulent times and better the lives of citizens.”
