NEWS RELEASE

OSOGBO– 26/09/2024–Osunstate.gov.ng

The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has congratulated a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Fatai Diekola, on the occasion of his birthday, celebrating his life of contributions and impacts.

Governor Adeleke extols Alhaji Diekola for his uncompromising resolve to drive positive developments in the society, applauding him for the invaluable contributions he has made not only to shape the state’s political landscape but also drive great benefits for countless of lives.

The Governor commends the political juggernaut for his bold and assertive posture in confronting the wrong politics that put the future of Osun and its people in jeopardy, saying that his birthday offers a unique moment to appreciate him for joining men of conscience in salvaging Osun from the abyss of ruins that past misgovernance condemned it to.

“Alhaji Fatai Diekola is a great blessing for us in Osun, and as he marks a new age, I not only honour the passage of time that this moment reflects, but also the positive difference made in the lives of many. On this auspicious day, I revel in the timeless contributions of Alhaji Diekola to justice and fairness,” the Governor was quoted to have said in a congratulatory message.

“Over the years, Alhaji Diekola stood as the bulwark against injustice in our society, sacrificing his personal comfort and benefits to ensure that no one is deprived of what they deserve. I’m particularly impressed by his stand for equity in the 2022 governorship election, aligning with other conscionable people to ensure that Osun West is not further marginalized in the governance landscape of Osun state.”

Governor Adeleke prays to Almighty Allah to continue to bestow his unending grace on Alhaji Diekola as he looks to celebrate more years on Earth, enjoining the celebrant to remain steadfast as he is confident that the future holds even more success and fulfillment for him.
