Maulud Nabiyy: Focus on Promoting Common Good – Governor Adeleke Charges Muslims

The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has charged Muslim Ummah in the state to embrace the essence of the birth of the Holy Prophet of Allah, Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him), which is the good of all mankind.

Governor Adeleke who congratulates Muslims in the state and beyond for the symbolic moment that the birth of Prophet Muhammad signifies, reminded them to take cognizance of the noble example of peace and hope that the Holy Prophet reflects.

While emphasizing strict adherence to the message of compassion and kindness that the life and teaching of Prophet Muhammad embodied, Governor Adeleke noted that his government remains committed to initiatives and interventions that will lessen the pains of the moment and ensures a better tomorrow.

“On this blessed day, I extend my joyous wishes to Muslim faithfuls, particularly in Osun state, as we commemorate the birth of the Holy Prophet of Allah, Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him),” Governor Adeleke noted in a felicitation message.

“Prophet Muhammad was a blessing of our Allah to mankind as he not only lighten our journey on Earth but also serve as an assurance of a better place in the afterlife. As we celebrate the blessing that his birth serves on humanity, I urge us all to embrace his draw from his timeless wisdom in building a just and harmonious society.

“As much as we celebrate the significance of this day, we must not let the message of peace and unity, which is the hallmark of Prophet Muhammad’s life, be lost on us, and that we strive to embrace the principles of love and kindness that the Holy Prophet embodied.”

Governor Adeleke prays that this occasion bring peace, blessings and a renewed commitment to strengthen bond in homes, Osun State and Nigeria as a whole, while reiterating the commitment of his government to religious harmony, which will foster enduring peace and stability, panacea to a prosperous society he envisaged.
