Prince Adebayo Femi Ogungbangbe was born into the Royal family of Ajagbusi Ekun ruling house Iloko ljesa, on the 16th of June, 1967, in Oriade Local Government.

He attended Methodist Primary School, Iragbiji and Holy Michael High School, Ikirun. He is a graduate of History and Yoruba studies from Oyo State (Now Osun State College of Education, Ila -Orangun.

Ogungbangbe is very skilled in parliamentary Administration and Contemporary Practices. A confident and articulate Prince with many years of political experience, this Prince of Iloko ljesha extraction is passionate about social justice, Political Science, and Management, which over the years, has influenced a tangible societal difference for him in resolving problems.

Prince BAYO OGUNGBANGBE has held several positions in his political career since 1993.

He was the Financial Secretary of Social Democratic Party (SDP) in 1993 for ward 10, Oriade Local Government.

While at United Nigerian Congress Party (UNCP) between 1997 and 1998, he was the Vice Chairman and Supervisory Councilor for Health, Oriade Local Government, ljebu-jesa.

He is unarguably one of the foundation members of People’s Democratic Party (PDP), a development which earned him the position of a leader in Oriade Local Government chapter of the party.

Between 2003 and 2010, he became a part-time Member -Osun State Project Advisory Committee, PDP Chairman, Oriade Local Government 2004-2011. Between 2008 and 2010, Prince Ogungbangbe was a Governing Council Member of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree while in 2008-2010, he held the position of a Director, sun State Polytechnic Microfinance Bank, Iree.

He was a Chairman, PDP Caretaker Committee Oriade Local Government between 2014 and 2015 and a member of PDP Transition Committee appointed by His Excellency Senator (Dr) Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke.

Prince Bayo Ogungbangbe has also worked in various organizations and establishments, locally and internationally.

He was also appointed a fellow of the Institute of Criminological Studies and Security Management (FCSSM) in 2023.

He is happily married to Princess Ogungbangbe Clara Oyenike and the union is blessed with good and promising children.
