Empowering Osun Creatives Through Constant Collaboration: A Commitment to the Future

This past weekend, a special event was held to recognize and celebrate the dedicated volunteers who supported the successful SDG Creative Conference in January. Young creatives from various parts of Osun State gathered to connect, share experiences, and explore meaningful opportunities for growth and development.

The initiative is rooted in a shared belief championed by Governor Ademola Adeleke that every young person, regardless of background or circumstance, deserves access to opportunities that can unlock their potential and position them to contribute meaningfully to society.

In support of this vision, the Special Adviser to the Governor, Mr. Bamikole Omishore, announced that Governor Adeleke has approved the renovation of the SDG Centers in Dagbolu and Iragbiji. These centres will serve as hubs for continuous learning, innovation, and empowerment. “These centres,” Mr. Omishore stated, “have the potential to significantly expand the reach of Osun creatives, better position our youth to compete globally, and enable them to earn legitimate foreign exchange from right here in Osun State.”

In a significant development, Mr. Omishore also revealed that Smart City PLC recently made a ₦25 million donation toward the partial equipping of a Content Creation Studio, a major milestone to support Governor Adeleke’s ongoing commitment to creating more opportunities for the good people of Osun State.

He concluded by calling on other private sector stakeholders, organizations, and individuals to embrace SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) and partner with Governor Adeleke led administration to bring this transformative vision to life. “We remain dedicated to creating an enabling environment where the youth of Osun State can truly thrive,” he affirmed.
