Special Adviser to the Governor on Public Health

Dr Akindele Adekunle is a professional Medical Doctor who was born on the 8th of August, 1972.

The hardworking Dr. Adekunle started his education at St. John’s Primary School, Okiti-Pupa, Ondo State before proceeding to St. Maris College also in Okiti-Pupa for his Secondary School Education where he obtained Senior Secondary School Certificate in Education.

The loving dad and caring husband then forged ahead to the prestigious University of Benin, Benin City, Edo State for his MBBS.

Dr. Akindele Adekunle who has garnered a lot of experiences in the medical profession has held several prestigious medical positions over the years in his illustrious medical career.

He is the Medical Director of Every Scan Services Limited, Abuja since 2006 till date. He was the Head of Radiology Department at Daihatu Araf Specialist Hospital, Lafia, Nasarrawa State between year 2004 and 2005.

Between 2002 and 2004, Dr. Akindele Adekunle was the Medical Director at Langtan General Hospital, Plateau State.

A fine gentleman and an illustrious son of Ondo State who has touched several lives positively, Dr. Adekunle is a member of several prestigious bodies which include: the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), the American Institute of Ultra Sound in Medicine, Laurel, Maryland.

As a politician, Dr. Akindele Adekunle has proved himself as a thorough bred grassroots politician. He was at a time, the Caretaker Chairman, People’s Democratic Party in Osun State between 2022 and 2023.

In 2021, he was a member of the screening committee of the Lagos State Senatorial Primaries, an event which turned out hugely successful.

This medical practitioner turned politician is happily married with children.
