Hon. Olagunju Moshood Olalekan was born in Iresi, Boluwaduro local goveroment, Osun State, Nigeria and has made significant strides in both the political and business realms. As a devout Muslim who is married to Yeye Oge of Iresi Land, Adebimpe Olagunju with beautiful children, his dedication to public service and his entrepreneurial pursuits have shaped his journey.

Hon. Moshood Olalekan attended N.U.D. Primary School, Iresi, Osun State where he laid the foundation for his education and obtained his Primary School Leaving Certificate. He proceeded to Ebekun Commercial Secondary Grammar School, Iresi and completed his Senior Secondary Certificate Examination.

In 2010, he was at Government Technical College, Iseyin, where he obtained his NABTEB O’Level qualification; his pursuit of higher education led him to interlink Polytechnic, ljebu-jesa, where he achieved a National Diploma and Higher National Diploma in Computer Science. He had also his Masters Degree in public Administration at Adeleke University, Ede.

This diverse educational background equipped him with the skills and knowledge that have been instrumental to his successful endeavour in both politics and business globally.

Olagunju Moshood Olalekan’s foray into politics was marked by his aspirations for higher office. He harbored House of Assembly aspirations in 2011, 2019, showcasing his enduring commitment to serving his constituents’. This commitment persisted, leading him to pursue a House of Representatives aspirations in 2023, demonstrating his ambition to contribute to broader legislative discussions.

His involvement in the political landscape extended beyond seeking elective positions. In 2023, he participated as delegate member in the State Congress. Playing a role in shaping the directions of his political party. Notably, he served as a member of the Budget Committee for the Adeleke campaign, showcasing his ability to handle financial matters and contribute to strategic planning.

In relation to his political Endeavours, Hon. Olagunju Moshood Olalekan has also shown his prowess as an entrepreneur. He established an automobile business known as “Lekson

auto Network Nigeria Limited” operating in both Nigeria and America; this venture reflects his determination to create opportunities for economic growth and employment within the automobile industry. The life and political journey of Hon. Olagunju Moshood Olalekan exemplifies a dedication to public service and entrepreneurship. From his educational achievements at interlink Polytechnic to his House of Assembly and House of Representatives aspirations, he has consistently strived to make a positive impact.
