GOVERNOR ADELEKE GREETS EX-GOVERNOR OYINLOLA AT 74

The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has congratulated a former Governor of the state, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola on the auspicious occasion of his 74th birthday, acknowledging him as a distinguished leader with endearing record of service.

Governor Adeleke celebrates Prince Oyinlola’s life of contributions and dedication to the peace and stability of the country, recalling how his adventures in the Nigerian military, where he rose to the rank of general, made it possible for a safe society.

The Governor who expressed admiration at Prince Oyinlola’s leadership style and passion for impacting lives, noted that as Military Governor of Lagos and a civilian Governor of Osun states, Prince Oyinlola pursued initiatives and interventions that improve the living standards of the people and brought about enviable progress for both states.

“I celebrate my Leader and dear Egbon, Prince Olagunsoye Asola Oyinlola, on the auspicious occasion of his 74th birthday. Omooba is a distinguished leader who inspires a great sense of service, dedicating over five decades of his life to put smile on faces and building the society for the better,” the Governor was quoted to have noted in a congratulatory message.

“As a military man, Prince Oyinlola showed discipline and grit, participating in many efforts toward peace and stability of Nigeria and other African nations. And as a politician, Omooba Olokuku prioritise the wellbeing of the people, utilizing any opportunities to make a positive difference in their lives.

“As he turns 74 today, I convey the heartfelt congratulations of the good people of Osun State to him and appreciate his modest contribution to the progress of the state. I also commend him for his reconciliation work in the PDP in order to unite the party to boost chances at polls.”

Governor Adeleke prays to God to bestow the grace of celebrating many more years on Prince Oyinlola while hoping that he will continue to be a great source of guidance in the quest of moving Osun state forward.
