How Governor Adeleke is reviving local economy and supporting SMEs in Osun State:

  • Cooperatives Revolving Disbursement in two phases; i. *Ward-Based and Conventional cooperative Unions and Society’s*
  • 401 cooperative societies identified across the 332 political wards in Osun State
  • 20,000 households directly benefited.
  • Disbursement of 2.1M Naira each to 300 wards of the possible and 1.050M Naira each to the remaining 101 wards
  • A total of 736,050,000 Naira interest free loan disbursed. ii. Conventional Cooperatives Unions and Society under FOSCOOP
  • 250 cooperative union and societies directly benefited.
  • 10,233 individuals corporators empowered through FOSCOOP
  • A total of 800,000,000 Naira interest free loan disbursed
  • 50,000,000 revolving interest free loan disbursed to Osun indigenes in Abuja and Northern Nigeria
  • Total Fund disbursed for Osun Cooperative Revolving Loan stood at N1,586,000,000.00
  • Food bank initiative in conjunction with Fidelity Bank with over 3,000 beneficiaries to cushion the effect of economic hardship.
  • Launching of “Imole Business Empowerment Scheme” targeting over 5,000 women and youth across the state. This comprises; Free Business registration through Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC); distribution of Point-Of-Sale Terminals; and Start-Up grant.
  • Upgrade of Sen. Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke College of Cooperative Studies Ode-Omu to Uniosun Campus for Cooperative Studies and Degree awarding Management Science Courses officially kicking off in September 2025.
