The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has congratulated a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Fatai Diekola, on the occasion of his 69th birthday, applauding him for his steadfastness and unflinching resolve for the advancement of Osun state.

Governor Adeleke acknowledges Alhaji Diekola’s cherished history in the political evolution of the state, recognising his discerning political mind and unparalleled grassroot mobilisation capacity as strength that endears him to politicians across the divides.

The Governor salutes the political juggernaut for his firmness and principled stance against retrogressive forces in Osun state, noting that the support of people of his kind continue to motivate his administration in forging ahead in the delivery of good governance for the people of Osun state.

“A hearty cheers to a politician of repute, Alhaji Fatai Diekola, on the auspicious occasion of his 69th birthday. Alhaji Diekola is a perfect reminder that politics can be a tool for good, and as he marks a new age, I join well-wishers in honouring the incredible contributions that defined him and to also celebrate the impacts he has made in the society,” Governor Adeleke was quoted as saying in a congratulatory message.

“Over the years, Alhaji Diekola stood as the bulwark against injustice in our society, sacrificing his personal comfort and benefits to ensure that no one is deprived of what they deserve. Alhaji Diekola was one of the voices of reasons that backed our aspirations to save Osun from the abyss of ruins that past maladministration led it to and his support for our administration’s efforts to set Osun on the path of progress has been encouraging.”

Governor Adeleke prays to Almighty Allah to continue to bestow his unending grace on Alhaji Diekola as he looks to celebrate more years on earth, enjoining the celebrant to remain steadfast as he is confident that the future holds even more success and fulfillment for him.
