ILUFEMILOYE AT 10: GOVERNOR ADELEKE FELICITATES WITH OLUWO OF IWOLAND, SAYS HIS LEADERSHIP HAS BEEN PHENOMENAL.

The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has rejoiced with the Oluwo of Iwoland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Abdulrasheed Adewale Akanbi, Telu I, on the 10th anniversary of his ascension to the throne of his forebearer, hailing him as a monarch who inspires renewed commitment to nation building.

Governor Adeleke praises the paramount ruler’s firm desire for progress, exploring relationships and God-given resources to drive visibility and physical development for Iwoland, attributing the tremendous progress that Iwoland has witnessed in the last 10 years to the incredible leadership of Oba Akanbi.

The Governor commends Oba Akanbi for leading with compassion, wisdom and vision, harnessing the immense human capitals possessed by the ancient town to reverse past negligence, pointing out that the extraordinary reign of the Oluwo has brought about the first federal institution and the first-ever dual carriageway in Iwoland.

“I heartily felicitate with the Oluwo of Iwoland, HIM Oba Abdulrasheed Adewale Akanbi, Telu I, on marking 10th year anniversary on the throne of his forefather. On this occasion, I join people across faith, race and tongue to honour the life of exceptional service of Kabiyesi, acknowledging his efforts to bring transformative progress and unparalleled prosperity to Iwoland,” the Governor was quoted to have said in the congratulatory message.

The Governor who joins every sons and daughters of Iwoland to rejoice with Kabiyesi on this milestone, noted that the monarch’s “remarkable leadership has not only uplifted his immediate domain but also contributed immensely to fostering communal peace in Osun state.”

Governor Adeleke prayed to God Almighty to give Oba Akanbi the grace and sound health to effect his impactful leadership on Iwoland for a long time for the benefit of the people and humanity as a whole.
