The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has rejoiced with Hon. Justice Joseph Olubunmi Kayode Oyewole on his recommendation for appointment to the bench of the Supreme Court by the National Judicial Council (NJC), hailing the elevation as a bold affirmation of his capabilities to effectively dispense justice in the highest court in the country.

Governor Adeleke who acknowledges the jurist as an embodiment of integrity, noted that his elevation to the Supreme Court bench will further empower the court to effectively deliver justice to Nigerians.

“I heartily congratulate Hon. Justice Joseph Olubunmi Kayode Oyewole on his appointment to the bench of the Supreme Court. Hon. Justice Oyewole is an embodiment of integrity and his commitment to justice is unparalleled,” Governor Adeleke noted in a congratulatory note.

“His elevation to the bench of Nigeria’s topmost court is a proud moment for us in Osun, and on behalf of the good people of the state, I celebrate this remarkable achievement. Going by his antecedents in effectively and dispassionately dispensing justice in over two decades on the bench, I have no iota of doubt that Hon. Justice Oyewole will excel in this new role.”

The Governor prays to God for Hon. Justice Oyewole to continue to make the right impact in the judiciary and urged him to uphold the highest standards of integrity, fairness and justice, which he is well known for in the discharge of his judicial duties.

Signed:
Mallam Olawale Rasheed,
Spokesperson to the Osun State Governor.
