GOVERNOR ADELEKE CONGRATULATES NEW JAMB REGISTRAR, SEGUN AINA.

The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has congratulated the newly appointed Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Mr Segun Aina by President Bola Tinubu.

Governor Adeleke who describes Mr Aina, a professor of Computer Engineering at the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), as an outstanding academia whose scholarly interventions has broaden knowledge, said his appointment to head JAMB by President Tinubu is a mark of recognition of excellence and competence given his rich academic background and experience.

The Governor affirms strong faith in Mr Aina’s capacity to drive further growth in JAMB and enabled academic excellence in the country, noting that his exploits in the academic prepared him for his new role and reinforce confidence that he will deliver

“I’m most delighted to learn of the appointment of Mr Segun Aina, a professor of Computer Engineering at the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), as the Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). At 39, Mr Aina has shown exceptional capacity, and it is heartwarming to see that President Bola Tinubu has found him worthy of leading an important institution at the heart of our country’s education system,” the Governor noted in a congratulatory message.

Governor Adeleke who appreciates President Tinubu for given yet another Osun indigene the opportunity to contribute to nation building, urged Mr Aina to use the appointment to positively spotlight the state by delivering on the mandate of JAMB.

While congratulating an elderstatemen, Professor Olu Aina, for the honour that Mr Aina’s appointment signifies, Governor Adeleke wishes the “new JAMB Registrar a successful five year tenure and bring much glory to the state.”
