Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke has flagged off the reconstruction of the bridge linking Ilahun and Ere Ìjèsà as well as Ibokun/Ilahun/Ere Ijesa – Iwoye ìjèsà, and OtanIle – Esa Odo – Iwoye Ìjèsà Roads in Obokun Local Government area.

Cutting the ribbon to signal the commencement of the construction projects, Governor Adeleke assured the people of Obòkun and OriAde local Governments that work will commence on the project immediately saying his administration remains committed to completing all infrastructural projects started in the State.

While highlighting some of the road projects already completed and opened for public usage, Governor Adeleke restated his commitment to the welfare of people of Ijesa North Federal constituency

He lamented that Honorable Wole Oke who is from Obokun Local Government failed to facilitate any intervention in his constituency despite being in the House of representative for five terms.

“It is painful and heartbreaking that an indigene of this local Governments, Wole Oke who was favoured to have been elected into the House of Representative for five terms failed to use his office for the benefit of his constituents”.

“He was busy using public office for his personal aggrandizement while his counterparts elsewhere are struggling to better the lives of their people”

The Governor noted that Senator Fadahunsi and Hon. Wole Oke who are both from the Local Government decamped because of the party’s stand on performance as a yardstick as against automatic tickets that the duo wanted from the party.

Earlier, the Obaala of Otan Ile, High Chief Isiaka lauded Governor Ademola Adeleke for his multi billion naira infrastructural projects that have transformed the state in just three years.
