
GOVERNOR ADELEKE CELEBRATES ATAOJA OF OSOGBO, OBA JIMOH OLAONIPEKUN ON HIS BIRTHDAY

Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke has congratulated the Ataoja of Osogbo, Oba Jimoh Olanipekun Oyetunji, Larooye II, on the occasion of his birthday.
The Governor described the Ataoja as a foremost traditional ruler and custodian of Osogbo’s rich cultural heritage, whose reign has been marked by dignity, wisdom, and a strong commitment to peace and development.
In his message, Governor Adeleke stated, “I warmly felicitate with Your Royal Majesty, the Ataoja of Osogbo, on this special occasion of your birthday. Your reign continues to bring honour to the throne and pride to the people of Osogbo and Osun State at large.”
He added, “Your leadership has been pivotal in sustaining the cultural identity of Osogbo, while fostering unity, stability, and progress within the kingdom. You remain a symbol of tradition blended with purposeful leadership.”
Governor Adeleke further commended the King’s role in promoting Osogbo on the global cultural map, particularly through the preservation and promotion of iconic heritage assets.
“Your Royal Majesty’s dedication to the promotion of Osogbo’s cultural legacy has strengthened tourism and elevated the status of our state internationally. This is a legacy worthy of celebration,” the Governor remarked.
The Governor prayed for continued good health, long life, and a peaceful reign for the Ataoja, urging the people of Osogbo and beyond to join in celebrating the revered monarch.
