Governor Adeleke Mourns Transition to Glory of Alhaji Lawal Adetoro of Edeland.
…Describes him as a Community Loving Business Mogul

The Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke has received with deep sadness the news of the passing of Alhaji Raheem Adetoro Lawal, a distinguished son of Ede and an accomplished businessman and community leader across Osun state.
In a statement issued on Tuesday morning, the governor said the late business leader was a top class humanitarian, a fervent lover of his community and a leader who for several decades built his business empire without leaving the place of his birth.
Celebrating the late Babalaje of Edeland, the governor recalled fond memories of growing up knowing the late leader along with his late father as passionate drivers of development for Ede which is now achieved before his eternal transition.
While commiserating with the Lawal family, the people of Ailaka Compound in Ede North Local Government and the entire Ede community on this painful loss, the governor noted the sheer determination, diligence and vision through which the deceased become a successful cocoa merchant, car dealer, sawmiller and real estate investor, a vocation he pursued with integrity until his death.
Alhaji Adetoro Lawal was not just a businessman; he was a self-made man who contributed to the economic growth of Ede and Osun State and served as an inspiration to many young people that with honesty and hard work, greatness is achievable”.
“Our late Papa contributed immensely to the economic development of Ede and Osun state. As much as his death is a great loss to Ede land and Osun State at large, his legacies remain enduring”, the governor was quoted as saying in the statement.
The governor prays that Almighty Allah (SWT) forgives the shortcomings of late Babalaje of Edeland, grants him Aljanah Firdaus, and gives his family, friends and the entire Ailaka compound the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
