Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs
The Ministry is one of the MDAs, (Ministries, Departments and Agencies) that came along with the creation of Osun State on August, 31st 1991 under the Military Regime of General Ibrahim Babangida. Initially, the Ministry was known as Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Community Development, but eventually, Community Development was moved to another agency and the name of this Ministry now remains Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.
Ministry of Women and Children Affairs
To render effective and efficient social service by providing physical, emotional, financial, spiritual, psychosocial support and care, amongst others, for improved quality of life in families and especially commitment to gender mainstreaming and the empowerment of Women and Children in Osun State
Ministry of Youth, Sports and Special Needs
The vision of the ministry is to motivate a state that has an active teaming youth population that is well equipped, productive and enterprising; a state that has athletes that do not only compete at the national level but at the international scene bringing laurels to it
