OGIYAN AT 50: YOUR REIGN HAS BROUGHT UNPARALLELED GROWTH TO EJIGBO, GOVERNOR ADELEKE LAUDS OBA OYEYOSIN

The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has applauded the Ogiyan of Ejigbo, HRM Oba Omowonuola Oyeyode Oyeyosin, for the great role he has played in upholding the rich Yoruba culture and promoting unity of the race, describing his 50 years on the throne of his forebearer as rewarding moments in the quest for growth and development.

Governor Adeleke who acknowledges the Ogiyan as a respected monarch who prioritize cohesion and progress in all circumstances, noted in a congratulatory message signed by his Spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, that Oba Oyeyosin inspires devotion to the service of the people.

While rejoicing with the monarch and the people of Ejigbo on the auspicious occasion of the frontline traditional ruler’s 50 years on the throne, Governor Adeleke salutes Oba Oyeyosin for his passionate commitment to the positive turnaround for Ejigbo, which is gradually bearing results in term of the physical outlook and increased opportunities for subjects.

“On behalf of the Government and the good people of Osun State, I heartily celebrate the Ogiyan of Ejigbo, HRM Oba Omowonuola Oyeyode Oyeyosin, on the 50 years anniversary of assuming the throne of his forebearer,” the Governor noted in a congratulatory message.

“This moment is not only about the passage of time but the enviable impact of Kabiyesi, turning the curve and making Ejigbo the formidable force it is today in all ramification. From any point of view, Oba Oyeyosin has been able to prove to us in this 50 years that where is will, there will always be a way.”

Governor Adeleke who expresses his admiration for the Ogiyan’s open door policy, which makes him a father to all, irrespective of faith, partisan learning and even tongue, prayed to God Almighty to sustain him and make his reign longer so as to continue to enjoy the benefit of his wise counsel and experience in touching lives and achieving greater peace in Osun state.
