GOVERNOR ADELEKE EXTOLS AFENIFERE LEADER, PA FASORANTI AT 98

The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has rejoiced with a foremost Afenifere leader, Baba Reuben Fasoranti on the occasion of his 98th birthday, describing him as a great asset to the Yoruba race and Nigeria as a whole.

Governor Adeleke applauds Baba Fasoranti’s remarkable journey of impacts and contributions, saying that the Afenifere leader’s trajectory of service and pursuit of public good inspires a great deal of dedication to furthering Yoruba’s interest.

The Governor who commends Baba Fasoranti for the leading roles in fostering a sense of unity and common front in driving development and growth for the Yoruba people, highlighted the nonagenerian passion and principles as the driving force for the increasing influence of Afenifere among Yorubas and Nigerians as a whole.

“I join family, friends, associates and indeed, every Yorubas, to celebrate our father and esteemed leader, Baba Reuben Fasoranti, on the auspicious occasion of his 98th birthday today,” the Governor was quoted to have said in a congratulatory message.

“Baba Fasoranti is a model when it comes to outstanding leadership. He was able to demonstrate to us all that nothing can be more rewarding than working for the good of the people.

“To me, Baba Fasoranti is a living legend, and I adore him so much. I looked at his trajectory in life and what he has been able to achieve, especially in shaping lives, is extraordinary.

“As he marks a new age, I celebrate him for the life of impacts that defines him while acknowledging the selflessness that he inspires through the numerous personal sacrifices in the service of the people.

“It is my prayer that God grant Baba many more celebrations in good health and sound mind so that we can continue to enjoy the immense benefits of his wise counsel, guidance and contributions to nation-building.”
