NUJ OSBC Chapel Appreciates Governor Adeleke On Approval Of Appointment

The Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, OSBC Chapel has sent an appreciation message to Governor Ademola Adeleke, for approving the permanent appointment of all the freelance staff in the employ of the Osun State Broadcasting Corporation.

In a statement, jointly issued by the Chapel’s Chairman, Comrade Lateef Agboola; and Secretary, Comrade Kamilu Raheem, the union equally appreciated Governor Adeleke for the commissioning of the modern transmitting equipment, procured for the media conglomerate, by his administration.

While congratulating the OSBC family, the statement therefore urges members of staff to justify the huge investment by continuing to promote the programmes and policies of the government.

NUJ, OSBC Chapel also encourages the management of the state owned media organization, to improve on the contents of their news and programmes, so as to serve the public better than ever.

As Oliver Twist, the union of Pen Pushers also appealed to the Osun State government to reconsider the issue of new Media Salary Scale, which it believes will serve as additional moral booster for the staff of OSBC Conglomerate among other beneficiaries.
