GOVERNOR ADELEKE CELEBRATES PROF. YAGBOYAJU AT 60

The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has congratulated Professor Dhikru Adewale Yagboyaju, on the occasion of his 60th birthday, acknowledging his deep-seated efforts to shape the future from the classrooms.

Governor Adeleke notes with admiration Prof. Yagboyaju’s passion for impacting knowledge, which he is reputed for in the over 20 years teaching at prestigious institutions in the country, including the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) and the University of Ibadan (UI), applauding his sense of dedication and contributions.

The Governor lauds the quality of output from the President of Muslim Association of Nigeria to numerous research and presentations in Nigeria and abroad, saying he has enriched national and international discourses and provided guidance on knotty societal issues.

“I join family, friends and well-wishers to celebrate an exceptional academia, Professor Dhikru Adewale Yagboyaju, on the auspicious occasion of his 60th birthday. In his six decades of existence, Prof. Yagboyaju embodies contributions, particularly in academia, where he has offered over 20 years of his life to impact knowledge and shaped the future direction of numerous people,” the Governor was quoted as saying in a congratulatory message.

“Beyond the classroom, Prof. Yagboyaju’s proven expertise and intellectual endowment is well sought after by national and international bodies, which earned him consultancy services with the UNDP, National Defence College (NDC), Abuja, Nigerian Institute of Social and Economic Research (NISER), Ibadan and Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) among others.”

Governor Adeleke prays for more joyful and memorable years for the Asiwaju Are-Ago of Erin Osun while hoping that he will continue on his path of contributions to the nation, particularly in the training of the younger generation, which is his chosen field.
