GOVERNOR ADELEKE FELICATES ELDERSTATESMAN, CHIEF EBENEZER BABATOPE AT 83.

The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has rejoiced with an elderstatesman, Baba Ebenezer Babatope, on the auspicious occasion of his 83rd birthday, honouring him for the cherished roles he played in national development.

Governor Adeleke notes the dedication of the former Minister of Aviation to pursuing public good and national progress, recalling with nostalgia the incredible gains that his policies and initiatives delivered through out his time in public service.

The Governor appreciates the celebrants for his rich participation in the development of Nigeria’s democracy, right from his time in the Action Group to the UNP, and now where his counsel has become invaluable, describing him as a pride for Osun state that he will always celebrate.

“I celebrate a respected Elderstatesman, Chief Ebenezer Babatope, on the occasion of his 83rd birthday. Baba Babatope is a voice of reason and his time in public service was marked not just by the delivery of responsibilities, but inspires devotion to the service of the people,” Governor Adeleke noted in a congratulatory message.

“As a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Baba Babatope demonstrated a remarkable sense of purpose, discharging responsibilities with integrity and a principled commitment to improving the lives of Nigerians. And as an Elderstatesman, Baba Babatope continues to offers meaningful contributions to the progress of Osun state and Nigeria as a whole.

“On the auspicious occasion of his 83rd birthday, I join family, friends and associates in celebrating Baba Babatope and thank him for all he has been doing, not just in the political space, but humanity as a whole.”

Governor Adeleke prays to “God Almighty to bless Baba Babatope with more celebrations in good health and sound mind so that we can continue to enjoy the benefits of his wise counsel and guidance.”
