The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has described the passing of the Proprietor of Onward Hospital, Osogbo, Dr. Aremu Olaosebikan as a monumental loss, noting that the deceased lived his life in pursuing a healthy living for the people.

Governor Adeleke pays tribute to late Dr. Olaosebikan’s extensive contributions to meeting the healthcare needs of the people of Osun state as manifested in the efforts put into the establishment of Onward Hospital, saying his demise has denied Osun state an astute professional and patriot.

While acknowledging his enduring contributions to the medical field by expanding access to qualitative healthcare services through sustained investment in research and equipments, Governor Adeleke noted that Dr. Olaosebikan’s passionate commitment to a healthy society will be sorely missed.

“My heart is filled with a lot of pain on learning of the passing of Dr. Aremu Olaosebikan, the Proprietor of Onward Hospital in Osogbo. Dr. Olaosebikan lived for the people, spending most part of his life to make healthcare access a possibility,” Governor Adeleke was quoted in a condolence message.

“With his passing, Osun state has been denied the expertise of one of the best in the medical field, whose vision and sacrifices yielded a renowned medical centre in the mould of Onward Hospital, benefiting our healthcare system in the state in ways we can never forget.

“On behalf of the Government and the people of Osun State, I express my heartfelt condolences to his family, the Oluwo of Iwoland, the management and staff of Onward Hospital and everyone touched by Dr Olaosebikan’s passing.”

Governor Adeleke prays to Almighty God to grant the deceased an eternal rest and bestow him the grace of an abode in paradise. He also prays to God to grant the family left behind by the Proprietor of Onward Hospital the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
