Osun State Government Mobilizes Youth for Global iDICE Tech Accelerator as Deadline Approaches

OSOGBO, NIGERIA — In a strategic move to position Osun State as a leading hub for digital innovation in West Africa, the State Ministry of Innovation, Science, Technology and Digital Economy has issued an urgent call to action for young entrepreneurs and tech enthusiasts to apply for the iDICE Startup Bridge: Founders Lab before the April 20, 2026 deadline.

The initiative, part of the broader Investment in Digital and Creative Enterprises (iDICE) program, is backed by global development partners including the African Development Bank, Agence Française de Développement, the Islamic Development Bank, and the Bank of Industry. The program is designed to transform tech-driven ideas into scalable global enterprises by providing participants with seed funding opportunities, expert mentorship, practical training, and access to global innovation networks and co-working spaces.

This mobilization, aligns with the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke’s vision and commitment towards a comprehensive digital agenda, aimed at transitioning Osun from its traditional economic roots into a competitive, tech-forward future. The program is specifically tailored for Nigerians aged 18 to 35 who have either a raw tech-driven idea or a working prototype, backed by global partners including the African Development Bank, Islamic Development Bank, and the Bank of Industry. The program offers funding, mentorship, and access to global innovation networks. Beyond individual success, the initiative aims to create a sustainable innovation ecosystem that generates jobs, promotes economic inclusion, and empowers the next generation of digital leaders in Osun.

To ensure broad participation, the Ministry has activated a dedicated Osun Helpdesk to provide one-on-one guidance and support for applicants throughout the application process. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply through the official portal at www.idicestartupbridge.ng

before the deadline.

This is a unique opportunity for Osun’s creative minds to build globally while starting locally.
