Olobu, Elerin And Olufon Hail Aregbesola On Fire Safety Matters
Traditional rulers in Ilobu, Erin-Osun and Ifon-Orolu have commended Governor of the State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola on his vision at setting up the committee whose function is to enlighten and sensitise the public on safety against fire disaster.
In their separate remarks ,Elerin of Erin-Osun, Oba Yusuff Omoloye Oyagbodun ll described the step as a right step in the right direction. He then advocated for community based fire service.
Also, the Olufon of IfonOrolu Kingdom, Oba Almaruf Adekunle Magbagbeola said the Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola is a visionary leader ,who at all times ,thinks of development of the State.
The Olobu of Ilobu, Oba Ashiru Olatoye Olaniyan thanked the Governor for putting up people’s welfare at heart. He advised government to make available all necessary facilities to combat fire incidents.
The trio therefore promised to make land available for Fire Service Office.
Earlier, the Chairman ,Special Committee on Fire Safety Matters, Hon Oguntola Mudashiru Toogun explained that it is imperative on the royal fathers to protect the cultural heritage of the palaces hence the visit of the committee.
Hon Toogun therefore urged the royal fathers to spread the message to their subjects .
