VISION OF THE AGENCY

Creation and provision of up-to-date and responsive geo-spatial data.
To capture, generate, manage, analyse and disseminate authoritative geographic data.
Facilitate the registration of certificate of Occupancy under the land use Act.
To support urban development and the provision of housing for the masses.
To provide geospatial information products like maps and support the creation of Infrastructure.
To promote large-scale physical development
To support environmental protection and the management of natural resources.

OBJECTIVE OF THE AGENCY

Meet the land Surveying needs of the State, Local Government and Public in general.
Conduct Survey investigation in the processing of application for transactions on land by the Government Agencies and members of the public.
Prepare maps necessary for economic, administrative, land use planning, scientific research, tourism determination of boundaries and population census;
Establish and density all classes of ground survey control beacons, in all nooks and crannies of the state
Ensure ethical practice by Surveys in the State.
