Dapo Ademola-Adesina was born on December 19^th, 1971, to the family of Late Prof Shim Oluwole Ademola Adesina and Dr (Mrs.) Caroline Bolatito Adesina. Dapo spent most of his childhood days in Ahmadu Bello University Samaru Zaria where he attended his primary and Secondary education at the University campus. Dapo studied Architecture at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Osun State and later proceeded to the USA where he pursued his graduate studies at the Driehaus College of Commerce, DePaul University to study Finance. He also graduated from the Kellstadt Graduate school of Business with an MBA in Finance. He is currently wrapping up his Doctorate degree in Business Administration and He is also a recipient of Honorary Doctorate fellow from the Institute of Contract Project facility Management.

Dapo is the Chairman/CEO of Shimarch Group of Companies which comprises of Shimarch Realty Concept, Shimarch Associates Nig Ltd, Adesina Farms and Shimarch & Company International Nig Ltd with subsidiaries in Real Estate, Agriculture, Public Procurement, Architectural designs, and Construction. Dapo is also the President / Founder of the Prof Ademola Adesina Memorial Foundation which is a foundation set up in memory of his late father Prof Shim Oluwole Ademola Adesina to cater and provide for widows and the less privileged.

He is also a Strategic partner and the Executive Vice Chairman of Fortis Easy Panels Nig LTD, a multi-million-naira revolutionary wall system construction firm with its headquarters in Dubai. Dapo an Architect by profession and is also a US trained Financial Analyst who worked in the Indianapolis and the Chicago Metropolis for quite some time. Dapo is also a Member of the following organizations and Institutions, Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), Board of Trustee Member of the Igbajo Polytechnic, A Fellow of the Institute of Contract Project facility Management (FCICPFM), a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultant (FIMC) and a Fellow of the Institute of Management Specialists as well a Certified Management Consultant (CMC). He is also a member of the Abuja Business Network and Real Estate Investment Group.

Over the last 10 years, Dapo has completed several training workshops and seminars in Project Management, Financial Investment, Leadership skills and Real Estate. He is a Philomath known for his ability in combining his private sector managerial, leadership and the entrepreneurial acumen with expertise in navigating the public sector.

Dapooza, as he is fondly called by his supporters and constituent members, is deeply passionate about applying simple innovative approaches that can be used to solve complex problems. His venture into politics was to continue the work of his father, Arc (Prof) Shim Ademola Adesina of blessed memory, through his love for Igbajo and the surrounding communities and to sustain his father’s legacy. He was an aspirant for the Federal House of Representatives in Osun state in both 2018 and 2022 under the PDP representing Boluwaduro/ILA/Ifedayo federal constituency.  He is also a Political and Public Analyst who has featured on several national TV and Radio shows advocating for a New Nigeria project. His Passion for politics and national issues was born out of the urgent need for a vibrant and egalitarian personality driven by passion and pragmatic results to serve his immediate community and nation at large. He also reiterated that it would serve as an opportunity to liberate his constituents from his constituents from mal-administration and mis- governance which has evidently been manifested in all sectors of the economy. Finally, his venture into politics was also to continue the good work of his father, Arc (Prof) Shim Ademola Adesina of blessed memory and to sustain his legacy.

Coming from an architectural background, Dapo is also a passionate Real Estate Entrepreneur and Investor who believes that the real estate industry is a major key element in driving the Nigerian economy if fully utilized. Dapo enjoys listening to music, swimming, playing sports (golf and basketball) and reading books on leadership and entrepreneurship. Dapo is a recipient of several awards in various capacities. Hon (Dr.) Dapo Ademola-Adesina is currently the Special Adviser to the Executive Governor of Osun State on Technical and Vocational Education and He is happily married to Dr. (Mrs.) Victoria Ademola-Adesina and they are blessed with two children.
