This was disclosed by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Mr Lawrence Oyeniran.
According to him, this is sequel to the dwindling resources accruing to the state from the Federation Account hence Government has come to no other conclusion than to share the payment of WAEC  fees with parents and guardians of students.

The Permanent Secretary said parents and guardians of students with three papers and below are to pay for the WAEC registration of their children and wards.

He therefore urged the parents and wards of the affected students to pay within two weeks in order to meet the extension of time granted by WAEC.
