The Governor of Osun state, Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke was at the Osun state DSS command today to declare open the South West Zonal conference of the State Directors of the DSS on security. The conference which is being attended by all state Directors of the DSS from the South West states of Osun, Oyo, Lagos, Ogun, Ondo and Ekiti.

In declaring the conference open, The Osun state Governor, His Excellency, Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke commended the initiatives of the DSS for organizing the conference at this crucial period of the Nation. The Governor however commended the State Director of the DSS for allowing professionalism and his oath of office to be his guidance in the discharge of his duty in the state.

“Let me use this opportunity to Commend the State Director of the DSS for doing a good job on the security of the state. If you are doing well, I will commend you, and if you are not doing well I will let you know but you are doing well” the governor stated.

Earlier, the state Director of the DSS, Mr. Victor Edet, commended the Osun state Governor for his support for the command especially on the conference. The state Director of the DSS then promised to be neutral before, during and after the August 15 election.

The State Director then presented a plaque of appreciation to the Governor for his contributions to the command.
