GOVERNOR ADELEKE CELEBRATES ORANGUN OF ILA, OBA OYEDOTUN, ON HIS BIRTHDAY

The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has felicitated the Orangun of Ila, HRM Oba Adbulwahab Oyedotun, Bibire I, on the auspicious occasion of his birthday, praising his pivotal role in the promotion of Yoruba’s heritage and culture.

Governor Adeleke noted his admiration for Oba Oyedotun’s inclusive approach to rulership, which has united not just subjects but foster harmony with adjourning towns, acknowledging Kabiyesi as a partner in driving developments in our society.

The Governor commends the Deputy Chairman of the Osun State Traditional Council of Obas for using his stool to expand interest in the Yoruba’s rich tradition, noting that Oba Oyedotun’s candor and sense of purpose are inspiring.

“On this auspicious day, I congratulate our father, HRM Oba Abdulwahab Oyedotun, Bibire I, the Orangun Of Ila, as he marks a new age. Kabiyesi serves the people of Ila with unfailing dedication and from his knowledge, wisdom, we are strengthened in our resolve to impact lives positively the more, ” the Governor noted in a congratulatory message.

“Oba Adedotun’s persistent push for a better society is revolutionary and has motivated a great deal of the noticeable progress we see in Ila Orangun today. As someone who has seen Kabiyesi closely, I cannot but be proud by his sincere desire to make the right difference in the lives of subjects.

“As he turns a new age, I join every sons and daughters of Ila Orangun to celebrate Kabiyesi, and thank him profusely for the leadership he has shown so far. I have nothing but respect for the visions of Oba Oyedokun, which has over the years proven to be people-centric and capable of having lasting impacts on the society.

“It is my prayer that God Almighty will grant Kabiyesi more celebrations while his reign continue to be a beacon of hope and stability for generations to come.”
