OSOGBO – 04/07/2025 – Osunstate.gov.ng

Governor Ademola Adeleke has warned ministries and agencies of government against violation of the new procurement law, advising that rigorous observance of the procurement law must continue.

According to the governor, the new law enhances openness and accountability in the execution of government contracts even as he repeated his administration’s commitment to full enforcement of the new law.

“I must however call our attention to the existence of a new procurement law in the state. Under no circumstances should any ministry or agency bypass the procurement process. It is in the interest of everybody to abide by the procurement laws and regulations.

“I also task us to be mindful of state financial regulations and laws. We must observe the rules to the letter. We cannot afford any error considering our verifiable sterling performance as a government”, the governor reiterated.

While commending the council members for their committment to duty, the Governor further tasked the council members to ensure continius effective implementation of the budget 2025.

“The implementation of the 2025 budget must be pursued without hindrance. We should focus on delivering on the budgetary targets through rigorous implementation.
