Osun Youths Laud Aregbesola Over Peace, Security, Others

The youths of Osun State have commended Governor Rauf Aregbesola’s commitment to ensuring a peaceful and secured environment through his investment in security.

They specifically commended government’s efforts in building and sustaining peace and security in the state, noting in particular, its huge investments in institutions and agencies charged with the protection of lives and property.
The group also praised the state government over the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS’s) ranking as one of the most secured state in the country.

Representatives of youths across the state who gave this commendation yesterday when they converged on the state capital, Osogbo, made reference to some security facilities recently acquired by the government and other peace building measures recently put in place by Aregbesola in his bid to ensure peace and security in the state.
Coordinator of the group, Adewale Aladejobi, in a statement lauded the state government for purchasing and distributing 125 patrol vehicles to security agencies and providing 25 fully equipped Armoured Personnel Carriers to the state Police Command.
