Elder Samuel Ayanleye Aina was born to late Pa Jacob Aina Ayantoso Farinuola and Madam Adeyoola Aina of Elemona’s compound, Oke-lla Orangun, Ifedayo Local Government Area of Osun State. He is happily married to Dr. (Mrs.) Mojisola Aina, a union that is divinely blessed. He is a Christian of the Seventh Day Adventist Church extraction where he is an ordained Elder.

Aina attended the prestigious University of Ibadan, Ibadan, between 1984 and 1987 and between 1988 and January, 1990 where he obtained B.Sc Hon Second Class Upper Division and M.Sc degrees in Geography in 1987 and 1990 respectively. Before then, he was at the Government College, Apata, Ibadan, between 1982 and 1984 for his WASCE Advanced Level (A’Level) papers. He attended Oke-lla Grammar School (OIGS) Oke-Ila Orangun, as one of the pioneer students between 1977 and 1982 where he passed his WASSCE, having passed out from SDA Primary School, Oke-Ila Oragun in 1976. Mr. Aina is the first University graduate from Oke -Ila Grammar School, Oke-lla Orangun.

A gentle man par excellence who is always in tune with the ideals of bettering the lot of people in and outside the Civil Service, Elder Samuel Ayanleye Aina is currently the Head of Service in Osun State.

By divine providence, dint of hard work, determination and commitment devoid of any internal or external force, Mr. Samuel Ayanleye Aina got appointed as Permanent Secretary in the Osun State Civil Service in 2012. It was through a rigorous selection process in which he had a good result. He was consequently deployed to the Ministry of Finance, Economic Planning & Budget where he served diligently till the year 2013.

The gentle, quiet and unassuming Aina, also served as a Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Finance following the creation of the Office of Budget and Economic Development from the former Ministry in 2013.

He served in the Ministry of Finance till 2016.

Arising from his tested capacity and ability, he was deployed as a Permanent Secretary in charge of two critical agencies: Ministry of Human Resources and Capacity Building and the Public Service Office in the Office of the Head of Service, Osun State in 2016.

He coordinated the affairs of the two Agencies until his appointment by the administration of Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke as the Head of Service of Osun State.

Mr. Ayanleye Aina served in several capacities, locally, nationally and internationally.

A community activist par excellence, Mr. Aina also served diligently as a former President of Pacesetters Club, Oke-lla Orangun.

Mr. Ayanleye Aina is married to Dr. (Mrs.) Mojisola Aina, a union that is divinely blessed.
