Badmus Azeez was born in Lagos and grew up in Osogbo Local Government Area, With an innovative mind and full passion for Information Technology, he has become a top notch professional and a significant figure in the field of technology and digital innovation.

Azeez attended Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (Lautech) Ogbomoso for a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics and Extension in 2009. He had his MBA at Adeleke University, Ede.

His thirst for knowledge and the development of his skills led him to earn certifications from renowned international institutes such as Cisco and AWS to further consolidate his knowledge in the field of technology.

He served as a network administrator at the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology from 2012 to 2013.

From 2012 to 2014, Azeez took over the role as the ICT Coordinator at Adeleke University, once again demonstrating his ability to lead and innovate.

A crowing achievement in Azeez’s life has been digitization of all government activities in Osun State.

His commitment, using technology for Social Development, its role in transformation of government processes and his involvement in the flagship initiatives provide significant changes.

His trajectory is a fascinating story of technology, vision and leadership that can be connected to creating effective solutions. His commitment to digital innovations and his ability to manage complex projects have solidified his leadership in technology and entrepreneurship.

Like a lotus, Azeez has risen to the topmost echelon of information and Communication Technology in Nigeria and globally.

He is currently the Special Adviser to the Governor of Osun State on Innovation, Science, Technology and Digital Economy.
