Ramota Odunola Adelowo, is a Director of Management Information System (MIS) in the Ministry of Innovation Science and Technology. She is a native of Ila Orangun in Ila Local Government, Osun State. She attended the University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Kwara State, to obtained the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science between 1995 to 1998 and also holds Master’s Degree in Information Technology at National Open University of Nigeria in 2022. She became a member of Computer Professional of Nigeria (MCPN) in 2013. She was employed into State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) as a master Grade II GL. 08 in January, 2002  and latter seconded  back to  Osun State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), headquarter before she was converted to the main civil service.

She is married and blessed with children.
