The dispute resolution committee on the Ifon-Ilobu-Erin Osun crisis has held the first meeting with a charge to the newly inaugurated committee members to be objective, impartial and godly while resolving the age long communal disputes between the three towns

It is with a heavy heart that I address you all today on the Ifon -Ilobu crisis. I am really sad that all efforts so far to permanently resolve the feud has not yielded deduced results.

Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke has urged corp members to avoid leaving the country in order to escape the pain of being stuck outside the country.

Concerned about the incessant land disputes between the communities of Ifon, Ilobu and Erin Osun, the Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has constituted an enlarged 100 member High Powered Land Crisis Resolution Committee with each of the affected communities of Ifon, Ilobu and Erin having 25 representatives each while the state Government will equally be represented by 25 members. The Ataoja of Osogbo land, Oba Jimoh Adetunji Olanipekun Larooye as the Chairman of the Committee.
