Adewumi Adeyemi, also known as Irekandu, is a dedicated scholar and community leader currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Architecture at the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA). His commitment to fostering a better Nigeria is evident through his extensive involvement in education and community development initiatives.

In his second term as a member of the Osun State House of Assembly, representing Obokun State Constituency, Adewumi is celebrated for his intelligent and people-focused legislative contributions. He has sponsored significant bills, including the Osun State Disability Protection Bill, which has been enacted into law.

Through the **Adewumi Adeyemi Foundation, he has launched various educational, welfare, and empowerment initiatives. Key projects include:

  • Irekandu Back-to-School Initiative: Provides scholarships to reduce the number of out-of-school children.
  • Irekandu Water Scheme Project: Ensures access to clean water in rural communities.
  • Irekandu Food Support Initiative: Supplies food for the vulnerable.

His programs also emphasize equipping women and youth with essential skills and resources.

He is the founder of LightSpace Consult Limited, an architectural firm that supports his foundation’s initiatives. Adewumi is a devoted husband and father committed to building a healthy family and a better community.
