Food Security: Hon. Babatola Faseru Commends Governor Adeleke, Urges Farmers to Maximize Use of Distributed Tractors

NEWS RELEASE

OSOGBO 18/05/2025 – osunstate.gov.ng

The Honourable Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security, Hon. Babatola Faseru, has expressed profound appreciation to His Excellency, Asiwaju Ademola Adeleke, for his unwavering commitment to empowering farmers through the provision of essential Agricultural equipment aimed at commercialising farming across Osun State.

Hon. Faseru emphasized that the achievements recorded under the current administration—particularly in the agricultural sector—have already outpaced what was seen during the twelve lacklustre years of the APC, which he accused of looting and mismanaging the tractors they inherited. According to him, the ongoing transformation in the sector is merely a tip of the iceberg, as Governor Adeleke remains resolute in fulfilling his campaign promises to the people.

He therefore called on farmers across the nine federal constituencies where the tractors were distributed to make effective use of the machines to ease their farming operations and boost large-scale food production in the state.

In conclusion, the Honourable Commissioner appealed to all citizens to continue supporting Governor Adeleke’s administration and wished all farmers a successful and bountiful farming season.

Signed:
Hon. Babatola Faseru
Honourable Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security
Osun State.
