GOVERNOR ADELEKE CELEBRATES APC’s NATIONAL SECRETARY, AJIBOLA BASIRU, ON HIS BIRTHDAY.

OSOGBO– 01/07/2025– osunstate.gov.ng

The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has congratulated the National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Suraju Ajibola Basiru, on the occasion of his birthday.

Governor Adeleke shares in the joy of the celebrations with the two-term commissioner in the state, acknowledging the grace of Allah in him which has guided his path in life.

The Governor believes the Osogbo-born lawyer’s commitment to success, through struggles and networking, pushed him up the ladder in the society and eased his path in the political space, earning him commissioner seat twice in the state, elected as a Senator, and now as the scribe of the ruling party at the centre.

“I join family and well-wishers to celebrate Barrister Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru, on the auspicious occasion of his birthday. While we may be on the opposite side in terms of politics, I recognise his service to this state at different times,” Governor Adeleke was quoted as saying in a congratulatory message.

“It is my prayer that Allah bless him with more celebrations in good health and sound mind while hoping that our politics going forward will be about uniting our people for growth and development, not the bitter type that did not but divide and stagnate us as a people.”

Signed:
Mallam Olawale Rasheed,
Spokesperson to the Osun State Governor.
