Maulud Nabiyy: Renew your commitments to a prosperous Osun, Governor Adeleke tasks Muslims.

The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has urged Muslim faithfuls in the state to prioritize peaceful cohabitation, which is the hallmark of the teachings of the Holy Prophet of Allah, Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him).

Governor Adeleke who congratulates the Muslim Ummah in the state and beyond on the marking of this year’s Maulud Nabiyy, described the birth of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) as a divine arrangement by Allah subhanawatahala to light the path of mankind and bring about everlasting relief in this world and hereafter.

While reflecting on the timeless message of peace and harmony that Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) embodied while he was alive, Governor Adeleke notes that this moments not only calls for spiritual reflection but also an opportunity to strengthen bonds of fellowship and goodwill.

“It gives me immense joy to join Muslim Ummah in Osun state and beyond to celebrate the commemoration of the birth of the Holy Prophet of Allah, Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him). Maulud Nabiyy is a strong reminder of the unquantifiable blessings that mankind enjoyed, and to also honour the timeline message he passed on to us,” Governor Adeleke was quoted as saying in a felicitation message.

“Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) was a light, leading us to not just the way to Allah but also guiding us on building a just and harmonious society. His message of compassion and selfless giving remain timeless as they not only helped uplift the vulnerable but also create an environment of love and peace.

“As we celebrate the commemoration of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) birthday, let us reflect the true essence of the moment by spreading love and compassion to all around us. We should endeavour to let his teachings guide us in all we do.”

Governor Adeleke prays for this occasion to bring peace, blessings and a renewed commitment to a prosperous Osun state while reiterating the commitment of his government to religious harmony, which will foster enduring peace and stability– panacea to a prosperous society he envisaged.
