GOVERNOR ADELEKE PRAISES OGIYAN OF EJIGBO AT 90.

The Executive Governor of Osun State has congratulated the Ogiyan of Ejigbo, HRM Oba Omowonuola Oyeyode Oyesosin, on the auspicious occasion of his 90th birthday, celebrating him as a revered traditional figure who embodies the collective aspirations of his subjects.

Governor Adeleke acknowledges the frontline monarch’s passionate efforts in attracting meaningful progress to his domain, utilizing his revered stool to harmonise resources and interests towards the common goal of elevating Ejigbo, describing Kabiyesi as a big influence on him in the quest to transform Osun state.

According to the governor, the royal father is a long time father figure for the Adeleke family, a symbol of royal stability and leader of conscience for his people and the state as a whole.

The Governor salutes Oba Omowonuola for leading with compassion and unwavering commitment to impact lives, noting that his reign has not only brought about cohesion and progress in many fronts, but has also amplified the immense standing of Ejigbo in Osun state and beyond.

“I heartily rejoice with a revered traditional figure, HRM Oba Omowonuola Oyebode Oyeyosin, the Ogiyan of Ejigbo, on the auspicious occasion of his 90th birthday. Oba Omowonuola is a charismatic leader, whose life of service and contributions are worthy of emulation,” Governor Adeleke was quoted as saying in a congratulatory message.

“In his 52 years on the throne, Kabiyesi has shown what desire for progress can do. His birthday is more than just the numbers, but the impacts and the immense values that come from his exceptional services to Ejigbo and its people over the years.

“On behalf of the government and the people of Osun state, I join his family, traditional council and the people of Ejigbo in celebrating a monarch who has given so much to humanity, and to honour his unparalleled dedication to the advancement of Yoruba culture.”

Governor Adeleke prays to God to bless Oba Omowonuola with many happy returns of the day in good health and sound mind to enable the people of Ejigbo, Osun state and humanity as a whole, to enjoy more of Kabiyesi’s outstanding leadership.
